Seed — The Beginning
Why Sprouted Peanuts?
At first, I wasn’t sure either. I wondered if peanuts, like barley or brown rice, became more beneficial when sprouted. Then I discovered their antioxidant levels could be nearly 100 times higher—and I knew I had found something special.
“I still have a photo from our first successful harvest somewhere on my phone.”
“Was growing them enough?”
That was just the beginning. Growing the sprouts was hard enough, but harvesting was even tougher. With no proper machine, we spent entire days shelling peanuts by hand.
Our hands and clothes were covered in dirt and peanut shells, and our backs ached. But those simple moments together, sitting outside and talking while we worked, are some of my favorite memories.

Sprout — Growth
“What was the toughest moment?”
Of course there were difficult times. Once, we had to discard an entire batch because too many sprouts failed to grow properly. It was painful considering all the time and cost we had put in.
Still, one thing was clear. We never doubted the potential of our ingredients. That belief kept us going.
“It was hard to throw them away, but after that day, we started checking every growing condition more carefully. That experience became part of our know-how.”

We hope sprouted peanuts become a familiar name beyond Korea. It may sound ambitious, but really, we just want to keep doing what we love.
